Default Tire and wheel question.

Hello

have a 16 is300f with the wheels and tire

18x8.0 Front ( 45 offset )
18x8.5 Rear ( 50 offset )
225/40/18 Front
255/35/18 Rear.

my question is can i run same size tires all around?

was thinking of running a 235/40 or 235/35 all around, or a different size that those that i listed.

tried to serch around but no aactual answer was coming up.

thanks

What size wheels are you going to use in the rear? I think 235 might be ok in the front if a bit large, but in the rear you're going to have stretching. If you're sticking with the stock wheels I would recommend sticking with staggered tires as well.

i have 4 18x8 f-sport wheels you could put on and then rotate the tires. New goodyear tires and Lexus OE sensors included. tire size is 225/40/18

Side note: I like the silver center caps!

But yeah that's an idea - just find a pair of front wheels and use those for the rear - then you have a square setup.

The maximum requirement for front wheels (8in wide) is 235 and the minimum requirement for rear wheels (8.5in wide) is 235 for safety concern. You should be ok, I just don't see the benefit unless you are taking the tires off to rotate them. btw I have 235/40 on my front wheels are they are perfectly fine.

Just my humble opinion, but when an auto maker designs a car with a staggered setup they do it for a reason. Might be cornering grip to keep the rear end in line, or something else that you may throw off balance with a narrow wheel. I guess I wouldn't be racing to change it just to have the same tires all around unless I had a good reason. Why do you want to change?

Will fit front 235/40? (225/40 dont want because too big stratching)
265/35 rear?

The offset on the rear might be a little too much. I would try a 255/30 or 265/30 and hope it doesn't rub.
Is the vehicle going to stay at stock height, or are you lowering it?

Stock.
But we cant put 235/40 and 265/30 because the height in front and rear will be different (is 250 RWD)

Not many run 235/40, but if you really want to, then your only option for the rear is a 265/35.
If you're staying at stock height, you might be ok.
