Hi there, I too have a 2018 IS FSport and looking at the RC Tanabe setup you have or the Afe Takeda. Do you have any vids w/ sounds lcips on here? I couldn't find any. Thanks!

I don’t sorry. It has a really nice deep throaty growl note though. Totally worth it. Almost zero drone too.

Question about the axleback install for the Tanabe. I confirmed it doesn't come with any new gaskets and confirmed there is a donut type ring gasket at the interface. My car is almost 2 yrs old, so the gasket is likely in decent shape for re-use. I was going to order 2 new ones just to be safe, but the price for a round shaped piece of metal is just ridiculous (~ $35 each X 2). Here is the part I'm talking about:
https://parts.lexusofwarwick.com/oem...ket-174510d132
So, I assume I can just re-use my existing gasket - is that what you guys have done?

Hi again. I finally got my RC Tanabe quad tip exhaust, took a full 6 weeks to get it and just installed it over the weekend. One of the bolts on each pipe was very easy to get off and put back on (with a ratchet), but the 2nd one on both sides was a pain! Had to use a small open-ended wrench and little by little turn it to get the damn thing off. Really don't see how people say it only takes 45 minutes for the axle-back installs on these cars after dealing with that.
I re-used the gasket like you suggested, glad I did, on both sides, the o-ring gasket was rusted/stuck to the mid-pipe on both sides, so it just stayed in place. Fitment for the bent piping and the exhaust outlet ports is SPOT on with the rear bumper, LOVE the look. Question about your flang where you bolted it back up with the spring bolts though. Did you find that once you bolted it together with the spring bolts (with that flat stopper on the bolt), that the Tanabe flange fit much looser than the OEM one? There is a bigger gap and more wiggle room on mine when doing that when looking at the OEM setup. Pics of both are below and I also posted a startup video @ the bottom. I may do a fresh post with more pics and other sound clips, etc. so others can hear it, etc. I need to get out & drive it more, haven't yet taken it on the highway, but my 16 yr. old had a ****-eating grin on his face when we drove it yesterday!
OEM connection
Tanabe connection
Here is a cold startup vid, not sure if this is going to work.... Sound is much more pronounced and deeper than I heard on the Tanabe website videos for the RC!
