Default Fitting the 2017+ exhaust tips to the 14-16. How?

Hey peeps, I bought the 17+ diffuser for my 14 IS 350 as well as the tips from a 17+. For those that went this route, how do you guys connect it? Are you just welding it on? As in just weld it to the end of the stock muffler pipe after removing the old tip? I have the full exhaust from an IS 200t but the piping before the muffler is way smaller than my 350 piping. So I can't just swap the exhaust and limit my flow and performance. Thanks

Why did you get an IS200t exhaust? Why not the IS350 exhaust?

I just needed the tips really but the seller wasn't willing to separate. So I took off the tips and discarded the exhaust because it's too small to waste time connecting to my car. The tips, however, are all the same. But I just have to weld it on. No big deal. If I was lucky to find the IS 350 or RC 350, then it would be a straight swap. But looking too long now without success.

I decided to do the conversion on my car. I should have the tips welded on tomorow, so I'll post pictures.

I actually do like the look of the stock tips. I think quads are bit excessive for a 4 cylinder lol.

I disagree, the car is going to look sweet once I put that Tanabe Medalion Quad Tip axle back on can’t wait for it to get to me. I was so angry that Lexus didn’t put a quad tip on the IS, but the Camry XSE got a quad tip lol.

I guess Lexus wanted to keep the quad exhaust specifically on their F performance line.

I just noticed that valance is actually different to mine. Which one is that?
