Both will work. I think the blue with red might be a bit "much" though - I think with blue, it is best to just go with either black or Flaxen. Gray with red interior was actually my first choice when I was shopping, but they sold it before I made up my mind for sure - ended up with Atomic Silver with red interior!
If it were me I'd have a hard time choosing, since I really like Ultrasonic Blue, but I just don't like red on the interior. On the other had I see Nebula Gray all the time, and while it's nice, it's not as special as the blue.
USB!!! Yes, I have it. It brings a whole other dimension to the car looks wise. I get compliments all the time. The red interior is nice, but keep in mind the only part red is the nuluxe, the plastics and dash will still be black. It's a nice decision either way. IF you go with USB, keep in mind they are harder to find so likely you will need to order it. There were only 5 USB IS350s in the Western US when my dealer looked, all were spoken for.

Yup I had to wait 2 weeks to get my IS because I wanted USB.
USB with red guts was my dream. There was one that was 256 miles away in Vegas and it came and went about a month before the lease on my 2014 IS250 F Sport ended, so that was that. I ended up with my second favorite color, which is Atomic Silver. The '14 was white with red guts and the '16 is Atomic Silver with red guts. Anyway, it is what it is, but I like that bold combo. I am not sure I would have had the stones to rock red wheels on it, but maybe for a while, I would have tried it.
I personally think the gray with red is a much classier look, vs. the blue with red may be a bit more sporty.
Nothing wrong with either, but if I had to choose, while I would choose blue any given day, I think overall I would still take the gray with red interior - I just think it "flows" better (much like the white exterior with the red interior).
