For a Lexus dealer that's pretty bad cause they know it's not a press-in bushing, it already comes in a bolt-on bracket. I can understand if an aftermarket shop didn't know this and charging press-in prices.
And while the alignment is a good idea if you haven't had one in a while, you shouldn't be held hostage on having to do it when it's really not needed.

Beg to differ with the first part as therein lies the issue - THEY DON'T KNOW that it's only a few bolts per side - not Lexus, and not after market shops. The only ones who MIGHT KNOW are "experienced" mechanics but good luck getting whomever answers the phone to get accuracy from an experienced tech. Lexus Service Advisors are completely clueless when it comes to things like this.

Over a 1/2 dozen times trying to schedule an appointment (including 3 Lexus dealers, 2 AAA locations, a couple other garage shops) I tried to explain "just bolted on - few bolts per side", and they're all clueless, kept insisting that the control arms need to be taken apart, bushings pressed out & in, and wheel alignment going whacky, so I gave up.

Just letting everyone know I put the RC-F bushings on our 2021 this morning. Seems to be the same part number as 2020 and prior. The rubber on the RC-F is definitely stiffer than our IS.Took me maybe an hour on car ramps, with a jack to take load off of each side suspension as I did them. I took my time as we only have 2k on the car, so I was crawling around looking at things like the transfer case and front driveline.

One thing that did seem different though. They say they changed the 2021 front suspension a bit, and I did notice one difference from all the installation videos. For the 21, there isn't a nut on top of one of the bolts for the bushing. Its only bolts with nut plates up above. Everything I read said the 21 had modified lighter suspension,, so maybe this was a change..

We only have 2k on car, so I plan letting everyone know how the tires wear. Just didn't want to put it off too long and wear the fronts too early.. We did a 4 year lease, so assuming I can get 2 years out of stocks now, replace them, and turn in with second set of tires.

Question QUESTION on Swapping Lower Control Arm Bushings

Got this response from a neighbor who's a mechanic... could y'all plz comment on if this is accurate?
"Do you have the part already? If not make sure you order the one with the bracket. They also sell the bushing without the bracket and that needs to be pressed in".

Answered in the other thread, no need to post the same question in multiple threads.
And pretty sure the Lexus LCAs only come with brackets.

Different drivers read different threads... are there rules against posting the same in multiple threads?

It is noisy to have the same question asked in multiple threads. A lot of members on these forums DO read a lot of the threads. Otherwise, we wouldn't get as many answers as we do.

Default Gsf bushings clunking

Hey ya’ll. I installed the gsf bushings on my awd 2015 gs350 f sport and I’m getting a ton of clunking from both sides. Over small bumps, when turning, when breaking and when accelerating from a stop.

Any ideas? I know these shouldn’t require any lubricant, but I’m starting to think otherwise.

Confirmed everything was installed correctly and torqued to spec.

Clunking then something lose. Only grease if it squeezing so two different sound. When installed mine never greased it for 2+yrs. Did you torque everything down your self? I know the 22mm is like 150FT lb

Getting that 150FT lb is a bi*ch. Had to buy a bigger torque wrench, and then add a pipe over the handle to give me the needed leverage.
