Default Quad exhaust

Looking for quad exhaust ideas. Or just get a quad tip and weld it to factory.

Any exhaust can be converted to quad.

Post a picture and show us what you chose after you decide.

If you search the forums, you’ll find a few posts about quad tip setups. Most RC axleback exhausts fit our car. Apexi makes a quad tip cat back and axleback specific for our car. I believe Joe Z is another option. ARK I think was either developing a quad tip or already did for our car as well. I just purchased the RC Tanabe Axleback, it looks pretty good to me, here is a picture of someone who had it on their car. I’ll be installing mine Friday.

We have the Apexi quad axle back, or the Ark Performance full catback.

Like the customer above, he got the Tanabe RC quad axle back!

Will the RCF Tanabe axleback fit a 2014-16 IS3X without any modifications other than a different quad friendly diffuser? Any cons using a RC-F version vs using one specific for the IS3X? Length difference? Fitment issues?

I am about to install the Tanabe axleback tomorrow, I’ll let you know if there are fitment issues but according to the person who owned the car in the above picture he had no install or fitment issues. The RC and IS have the same OEM exhaust part number AXLE BACK wise ONLY axleback lol.

If its the same OEM Part # then Tanabe should just add the IS to their applications list and we can stop calling it an RC exhaust

Well it was designed to work with the RC specifically. It just so happens to fit okay on the IS because of the same mounting points haha

Thanks! I’m very happy with it. It has a deep growl right now but I’ll see what it sounds like once the break in period is over.

Thanks for the update (so quick!). Can you get other angles? Do the tips stick out real far? LOVE this look. Thanks for researching and updating us for reference.

I’ll take a side view shot and upload it in a little bit. They don’t stick out past the bumper at all; for me they are the perfect length.

Sounds perfect, thanks. I'm not a fan of tips sticking out past the bumper, or at least, not much if they do. I want exhaust tips, not afterburners.

Slightly unrelated, but does anyone know what diffuser this one is on the carID website: https://www.carid.com/gallery/lexus/...m-add-ons.html

I don't see it listed on their diffusers. I'm debating between a 2017 diffuser, the Aimgain II style, or possibly this one if it is even available and not a one-off special order from Japan.
