Oh nice, I'm not big on the voice control so it's not something I plan to use.
I just moved my antenna back to where it was and added a metal plate, inaccurate signal for car navigation gone for now.
I believe now all features of my unit work. Youtube, Navigation, Sound, CarPlay, iPhone mirroring.
Some things I've noticed...when I'm using my air mouse with keyboard, my unit has froze or lagged. I attribute this to moving too quickly through menus with the air mouse or scrolling too fast with the arrow keys. When I don't use it, all is fine.

Hey guys i found another solution for getting carplay and android auto into the IS, people from the GS side said it a great unit and is wayyyy cheaper than the 4x4 shop and beat sonic its called carlinkit I purchased mines yesterday for $277 shipped and will be receiving it before friday i will let you guys know how it goes

you find it on amazon for 349 but the cheapest i found it was AliExpress i even message them and they said my car was capable i have a 2017 is 200t with nav

I bought similar kit last yr they sent me harness completely not compatible with our cars hopefully it’s already sorted out on their side. I was actually interested in this one.

Check settings / apps - and find launcher app.
The problem is that this right side (I have the previous generation - but maybe similarly / shortcutwindows.apk) contains CAN messages - buttons on the steering wheel and radio.
Buttons and volume bar do not work without this app. Left side launcher2.apk
I think I’m going to place the order for mine at 4x4 today. I feel like it’s worth the extra money. I go back to work next week so I’m not sure when I’ll get to install it.
Has anyone been able to enable the "Hey Google" function? The option is grayed out for me no matter what settings I adjust. I have voice search working in all of the google apps, as well as on gboard for all other apps. It would be really nice to be able to use the Hey Google trigger.
I decided not to tap into the factory mic, as it was really easy to hide the Android mic behind the upper-right area behind the screen. If you wanted to use the factory mic, tap into the wires highlighted on the large connector (if your config is the same). The factory mic is amplified though, so I was planing to splice a stereo mini plug in parallel with the Mic+/-, then utilize a headphone volume control which then plugs into the mic-in on the screen. Use a recording app on the Android to adjust the installed volume control to a good level.
Someone has a system update (update file on usb) for the 1280x480 version? I would like to reinstall the OS.
I tried to edit the launcher (I have root) but something went wrong.
