Yup, got the cable last friday, just plugged it in and it worked.

Awesome, I’m pulling the trigger on the unit. I’m getting the Apple CarPlay upgrade and will do a review of just the Apple CarPlay interface since you took care of the rest haha.

Yeah honestly I wish I could just buy the Pioneer Appradio 4 that has Apple CarPlay and install it with no issues, but in today’s world the damn units are integrated with the temperature controls etc. Such a PITA.

Thats cool they got it to work on a Lexus...would be great if this works on the IS...but still would really want a larger hi-res LCD screen to go with it.

4x4 Shop shipped out my unit today. I will be installing it Sunday most likely and will try to do a install video. I will also try to do a review on the Apple CarPlay performance with this unit.
