I found another one looks just like Lexion. Not sure why it’s cheaper box looks identical maybe counterfeit one.

It certainly looks the same. Who knows?

Can't trust these Chinese companies. I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on Lexion. Did you say you had about 2 weeks in transit?

I believe that is right. There was a few weeks before it was shipped as well due to the chip shortage, I was told.

Have you timed the boot up how long it takes the moment you start car and see the CarPlay on the screen? 10-20 sec? Assuming CarPlay automatically launched. My system takes like 1 min but Lexion claimed 20 sec that’s very fast.

I haven't timed it, but no more than 20 seconds, maybe less. Fast is fast! lol

At least 20 seconds to boot to main UI, likely a few more seconds after that for carplay to connect, based on this video ... but it may be a few seconds longer as you can see he starts the video after the car is already started.

Faster than mine, but not by as much as I was hoping for

It does take a bit longer in this video. I timed mine it took exactly 1 min from pressing car start button to seeing Carplay home screen, I have auto start on. 1 min is kind of long sometime I'm already on the road and it's still booting. Carplay in Porsche is extremely fast starts as soon as bluetooh connection is established.

Pretty much!! Sometime I don’t even see CarPlay screen it’s blank for a few min and I hope it comes on while I’m on the road. I even contemplate taking out the unit and go back to oem system. Bluetooth streaming is much faster to change tracks whereas with CarPlay there’s a bit of lag. It’s probably just my crappy unit. When I change track with steering wheel button it also skips two songs. This thing is just PITA to use.

Dang, I didn't expect that much of a difference between your gen 1 4x4 unit and my gen2 4x4 unit, but I have none of those issues

As as far as boot on mine, I think I timed 34ish seconds to boot to UI, then around 3 seconds for the auto-launched carplay to connect.

Wish someone would get and test out the gen3 to see where it stands

34 sec is pretty quick no need for an upgrade.

Indeed, I'm happy with my unit. I was expecting to replace it due to me accidently cracking the screen on my own dumb fault, but then 4x4 sold me a replacement screen for a good price, so I'm good, but I like to stay up to date on what's available on the market for future reference or to try and help other people's questions
