At least 20 seconds to boot to main UI, likely a few more seconds after that for carplay to connect, based on this video ... but it may be a few seconds longer as you can see he starts the video after the car is already started.

Faster than mine, but not by as much as I was hoping for

I will probably wait for the next generation:
Snapdragon 662 and 6GB RAM (I have 2gen) and real Android 11 - API30
Maybe 2022 And I hope it will support the USB DAC.

Currently, they test for Mercedes. But as we know the first versions of the software contain a lot of issues.
Not from this seller. This is just an example.
Lexus / BMW / Audi / Mercedes should have a similar hardware for 10.25" screen.

You don't really have to wait, I've been using the Carsyso/Binary unit for more than a year,
it has 0 crash/reboot by far and I'm extremely satisfied with its performance & stability.

This interface does not look/feel genuine to me.

But the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 HU version has better support (root and other changes) than MTK. For those users who want to change the settings a bit and have real Android 10.
I would like to change Launcher and install a Cyrus USB DAC. Of course, I do not know now if it will be possible. But better chances with Snapdragon than MTK CPU.
This version also has a higher resolution and a SIM card (4G) slot. The current version of Snapdragon 625 - the start time is about 30 seconds. not bad. Maybe the Snapdragon 662 (Android 11) with 6 or 8GB RAM will be even faster.
Currently I have a second generation (1920x720, 4G, MTK, 4/64, ) so I can wait and consider the different variants.
Also 0 crash - but I installed a heat sink from an old PC motherboard - maybe it lowers the temperature a little.
It's probably a lottery (all-in-one unit). Some units work well, others have different issues.

Yes, Carsyso/Binary is a really good unit and works with the touchpad/joystick.

The Carsyso/Binary unit is powered by Rockchip RK3399 CPU, not an MTK chip fyi.

What is the lead time for the 4x4 unit? Been waiting 3 weeks with no shipping info from Lexion and I am growing impatient and might just cancel. I was told 2 weeks to ship. Are the 4x4 units in stock from anyone in the US?

Supposedly according to USPS, my 4x4 unit arrives tomorrow. Ordered Friday, shipped Monday, delivered Wednesday. If this holds up, it’s a much better timeline than Lexion was.

I just checked their site and the price is up to $900. Sceptical about pulling the trigger considering how crappy their customer support seems to be.
