BUT the sound for Google Maps doesn’t go through BT only the music. That’s the issue. Basically, because the sound through the actual unit sounds crappy, I’m bypassing it by using BT through the OEM unit, but I’m doing it directly from Apple Music by switching the “Airplay” from the “unit” to “BT”.

Maybe a small amplifier is needed for this little loudspeaker for navigation.

The Android Here WeGo sound only comes through the Tweeters on the dashboard, below the windscreen.
I do not believe that is ever going to sound alright.

Small update.
Removed the system from the car.
place 12V on yellow and red wire. place grond on black wire.
This way I can test the system while the seller gives me some (not always helpful ) info.
After a second reset I get navigation sound form google maps through the supplied small speaker.
There is spacial setting ' Auto-setup / Force switch to small speaker' which need te be activated.
Installed in the car again and this time placed all wires neatly. Gps antenna in on left A-pillar.
4g antenna is at the richt bottom end of passengers feet.
Small speaker and mic are placed beside the steering column. I can hear it well and mic als functions oke there.
Android google maps now has navigation sound coming from the small speaker.
So the system is at least usable.
After disabling the special setting I do not hear any navigation sound anymore.
The system does mute, as programmed, but I simply cannot hear any directions.
Reported this error back to the seller.

Screen is bright and system is snappy (but I have never had any android before).

Screen fits fine and is a little tilted towards the driver.
Touch is good and sensitive.
Sound (standard settings) is fine. I had read a lot about this issue.
Carplay (wired) is fine and connects fast.

6Gb/128Gb Android 11 system from Navirider.
Everything which is mentioned at the AliExpress website seems correct and seems to work.
Everything of which you would think as normal but not mentioned in not likely to work!
Bottom line, a nice system, good music, nice screen, 2s lag when opening your car, 1s lag with reverse cam, apps unexpectantly take long to open, apps do not always autorestart when you start the car.
BUT, in essence a $603 system equipped with a $0,75 speaker for navigation. It seems that all navigation sound should not come trough the car speakers (TomTom Android installed on the unit) can get the sound to the car speakers but there is no (working) fade for the music.
The system does not always seem stable. My wife hates it, because it can be unpredictable - especially at start-up- and prefer I take it out.
The point we see could also have to do with both of us never having Android before.
CarPlay is fine, and more predictable, but also uses the $0,75 speaker for navigation sound.
Have you checked the API level?
Android 11 = API level 30. If it's really Android 11.
Looks correct to me.
Seller will get me a y-cable to get the sound trough the central dashboard speaker. That will certainly improve the quality.
Also TomTom for Android, installed on the unit, is able to get sound to the Lexus speakers but without a fade function. So navigation and music are both existing, just like the original Lexus navigation.

This is what it says Qualcomm MSM8953 (customized car-grade QCM6125) And some other thing for the gpu which I forgot.
Geekbench 5 Mulitcore 752 if that helps.

The unit has a battery (how large is unknown to me).
Cold boot is only after more than 1 day. Did not check the time.
On normal use it is a warm boot. Still unpredictable, can be 5" or 25" before I get TomTom on screen.
Also unpredictable is what app it will start on the warm boot.
Lately (as I said, unpredictable) it starts with the original Lexus screen. I always turn it off with TomTom on so this is confusing.
Y-cable is shipped the seller tells me.
They are also looking in a BT change so you ca hook this unit up tot your Lexus BT system and sue the 'speech as BT phone' options on TomTom and Maps to get the navigation sound directly to the Lexus system just as a phone call.
What do you mean by UI?
It is just a screen (in my case black) with icons on it. Not comparable to a Car launcher.
Extremely bare.
It has 4G with separate antenna and SIM slot. Works fine.

I really do not know anything about Android.
I think this unit has its problems but does give better navigation which is very welcome.
As I mentioned: Navigation sound is very bad as it need to come from the small speaker. I hope the get the sound to the lexus speaker.
Pair your Android screen with the Lexus OEM (but only as a music channel).
And pair the phone with Lexus OEM (as a phone call channel)
This way you can use the phone.
