Ok update guys, was watching YouTube during my lunch and about 30 min in it started switching from the YouTube video back to the Lexus interface and when I tapped the screen to go back it would immediately switch back to the Lexus interface. After I tapped it a few times it stayed back on the YouTube video but repeated the process again about 5 minutes later.
What version of Android OS are on now?

Ok just did a 30mins ride with YouTube playing (built-in app) and with no CarPlay attached. No bugging in and out from Android to Lexus infotainment.

So okay, I'm driving home from my trip and with an hour in (using Android), I gotten a weird bug that's *almost* similar to @dkotoric . My issue is if I have dongle attached, and Ive been streaming and watching YouTube for nearly an hour now, no flipping back and forth from Android to Lexus. However, if I am on Android interface, I click "Lexus" to go back to my XM radio, it will stay for 3s and flicker/flip back to Android interface. It is repeatable and does it every single time. Something going on with the dongle I'm sure. I unplugged the dongle, click Lexus to go back to oem, it will stay on that page as normal.
As for sound, I haven't tested it yet. I need more songs on my work phone (iPhone). Literally one has one song. Will report back later with more songs.
Unrelated feedback. Android Auto esp. Waze is looking hella ugly lol. As an android primary user I am kinda offended. Apple CarPlay Waze looking hella good. Default Waze on the unit itself which is android, not bad either. BUT using Waze via AA, #Imupset

Will check again when going to lunch today. I have done a hard reset on my unit and not installed any apps or anything. Want to make sure its not an app I installed causing the Android to Lexus switch.
