Got it all hooked up and testing. So far, its a little buggy. The offline navigation is in a different language (maybe Russian or something) so I can even figure it out. I can not get the Carplay to work correctly. I get an error saying the box isn't register properly every time I plug the dongle in. Going to make a whiskey and I'll post a few pics.

Contact 4x4 they just need to give you the right firmware for Apple CarPlay. It happened to a few of us when we updated the actual firmware/software they had to give us a new firmware for Apple CarPlay.

Finishing up my install with a USB extension cable so I can use the center console for plugging in my iPhone. Ran the GPS antenna which is a PIA but necessary as I want all the functionality available with this setup.

I have one of these installed in my Tundra, I actually took it apart, powdercoated the bezel to match the other trim I blacked out and soldered a better microphone. We absolutely love it, Waze, TomTom local maps, unlimited Spotify skips, YouTube, plays our own mkv’s and mp3’s, does CarPlay etc etc.
I’m thinking of doing the horizontal version in the NX200T we just got. Everything works as it should in my truck, do you guys have any issues?

How did the troubleshooting with the rear camera and carplay go... is it working properly now?
Installed unit yesterday (nav + jog control version). Can confirm wiring harness correct and jog control works.
Basic testing everything seems to work although quirky
Had to set backup cam to non oem in settings to get to work (even though it then uses oem connection) and then doesn't show parking sonar. With backup camera in oem mode it shows parking sonar but no image (camera cable supplied makes no difference). Will email Fred re this.
Also for those with RHD, plastic bit supplied that fits below screen is for LHD only
Octa core and 4gb would be nice, unit isn't exactly fast
I'm guessing I don't need this cable. I have navigation with jog controller.

I'm prepping for the install with jog controller... which USB is used/what is the difference in the USBs? There is one coming from the harness and one coming from the back of the screen with the blue connection attached.
Have you experience the issue when you are in the Android part and for no reason it flips back to Lexus stock screen?
Yesterday the whole thing was unusable because as soon as I went into the android part, it would just flip back to android screen. I restarted my car twice to see if it would fix itself but no such luck.
It's been quite a bit finicky in the past where I turned the volume with the **** or on the steering wheel it would flip back to the Lexus screen.
