Hmmm I don’t have this problem. 0 squeaks and stuff. Will one of you post a picture of what you’re talking about with the top right of the screen.

Also for playing video files you are limited to a max 32gig flash drive. Anything bigger (64 and 128 gig) and it sometimes won't detect the files and will freeze and force a restart. My bigger flash drives are formatted FAT32 just like the 32gig. I've noted that you can play any music (mp3) file from the same large flash drive without issue. It just seems to be an issue with video. My video files are mp4. Same video files load and play fine with the 32gig.

I'm still working with their engineering dept in China to figure out my sound issue coming from the Android side. Back home from work this weekend to play some more.
Another thing that might help is when you are playing music on the android side (or carplay/aa) go into the Lexus side on AV or AUX and adjust your sound settings there.

Hmmm the flush part like I said that’s how it’s supposed to be so it angles towards you, but the looseness idk about that. I’ll double check mine later and post about it. I’ll take a video.

Seems like something a small piece of rubber / foam would fix up in a quick second

Does anyone know where the internal Lexus GPS is located or how to re calibrate it? Not that I ever use it but I can't get a GPS lock anymore and probably covered it up with some wires during the install.

I think that's the radio/satellite radio.

After reading other forums I'm pretty sure I probably didn't reconnect my GPS in the back of the head unit.... damn.

Can this new version for navi/jog cars use the car's internal GPS for the Android OS and Carplay/AA? Or do you still get an external GPS with the unit that you have to install and use?

Lexus = Internal GPS
Android = External GPS (comes with screen)
Carplay/AA = Your phone GPS

If you don't plan on using google maps or waze on the android interface and only plan to use Carply/AA you don't need to install the external GPS. Also, I just installed the external GPS behind the screen (electrical taped to a large wire harness) and I get a signal no problem.

Thanks, that explains it perfectly.

So is there a consolidated list of all current outstanding bugs not yet fixed by the latest firmware?
