What concerns me is that we don’t know who manufactures the units. I tried to find the company that is stated on the Ali Express site for the product and found nothing. I just don’t want to spend $1000 on a unit that may break right after it’s 1 year warranty.

Thats tetr, I'll let you guys know tomorrow. I'll call them as soon as they open, but ive had multiple android radios in different cars and ive installed over 100 radios in my life. This is probably one of the simplest ones to instal, it trully is plug and play so dont really know what i could ve doing wrong but you never know i guess.

I juat want to add that from the back this unit doee not look the same as the Ali Express units so i dont think its the same unit. I went to that site to see if there are any instructions and noticed they look different.

I hope you get it working! I'd do this mod in a heartbeat (along with Carplay add-on). Now I wish I didn't get the navigation...wonder if they'll ever create a navi version. A retrofit to a touchpad is an option, but that looks like a lot of work.

Yup got it running. My backup camera doesn't work but they are sending me an additional cable that should fix that. I didn't realize u had to take out the entire radio and not just the screen. It's definitely big job but looks cool as hell.

I guess 2014 model doesn't need it and mine is a 16, very helpful though, they did a video chat with a couple times to help me.
