I have one of these installed in my Tundra, I actually took it apart, powdercoated the bezel to match the other trim I blacked out and soldered a better microphone. We absolutely love it, Waze, TomTom local maps, unlimited Spotify skips, YouTube, plays our own mkv’s and mp3’s, does CarPlay etc etc.
I’m thinking of doing the horizontal version in the NX200T we just got. Everything works as it should in my truck, do you guys have any issues?

hey man what issues are you guys currently facing today as of july 2019? Has the 7.1 update fixed most of the issues? Since this thread is so long, I think an updated list of issues would be good for those of us who have just taken the plunge thanks man! I can't wait to get mine installed!

I haven't updated to Android 7.1 yet, but right now on 6.0 everything is still solid after about 10 months. I use Apple CarPlay all the time, but I don't use the sound output from the unit side I keep it all on the factory bluetooth side because I never was able to fix the sound quality issue on the android side. I will probably update to 7.1 once I get my car back from getting the fender damage fixed. This unit it totally worth the money to me since you get so many good features not to mention the bigger screen and touchscreen if you have the oem small screen.

Question if you use Apple CarPlay and YouTube (jailbroken iPhone) the audio will have to be used on the android side I’m assuming correct? If there’s no fix for the android audio yet this will be a killer for me 😩

Yeah 6.0 haha my bad. The installation is a bit of a pain as there were no instructions, but idk if you will get instructions. The space behind the stereo etc isn't the best either, but it's not terrible.

does this unit have a bluetooth connection so maybe it can be paired to the OEM head unit? Or maybe a dongle would work...... hmmm this would fix the audio quality issues I think.
Here's a vid I found on how to enable BT carlink? Can you try that and see if the audio quality is better?
