As far as I know, it's to prevent the hisses and bad sound quality when on AUX

HI guys, so I just got a new 2019 IS 300 Fsport but it comes with a standard small screen and no navigation. I want to get this 10.25" screen or whatever you guys are posting here in this thread. And where can I buy it? Any shop in San Diego, CA that can install this unit ? thx.

The settings screen is stock android.... why? It's clearly an android ROM... so settings would have to be the native settings.

The main menu I don't think is stock Android is it? When you hit android in the main menu then it's actually android. Doesn't that mean the main menu is a skin or something? I'll take a pic and post it.

I have a 2017 Lexus IS 350 Fsport Series 3 (Navi and Mark Levinston)

can someone confirm if the 4x4 unit will work with mine.

my car already has the large screen. I want it for YouTube and CarPlay.

also, I seen the AliExpress device too, I contacted three sellers, and they all said they can’t do it on my car..

this is for people with jog wheel (navigation unit) he said a new gen screen is coming out in November with new processor and 4gb ram and 64gb rom.

preview jog wheel model unit is discontinued. So look out for it in november whoever is interested.

yes, the update is strictly for people with the jog wheel.

I am have been reading almost every post on this thread and did skip some of them but I am wondering to they ever release and update to display MPH and Fahrenheit. May seem silly but this is one of the things holding me back.

Also if anyone has any info about current version/update and and if there is any bugs or issues of note?

I'd love to upgrade to this unit, but at the same time I'm hesitant is if there is still any issues that may be worked out if I wait.

Any advice is appreciated fella's

^But then again this comment is confusing to me. I have the navigation unit but it is the joystick, not the wheel. I was under the impression that the non nav units are the one with the wheel, but I may be wrong. can anyone clarify? Either way I guess it's best for me to wait, the more update that comes out the better.

Yeah he means the joystick. The Nav models have the joystick and not the wheel as you mentioned. Also, I haven’t had any major bugs the screen works pretty damn well. I’m at a year with it. I had a few issues updating from Android 6.0 to 7.1 but they got it all ironed out for me quick and been good again since. The only real issue I have is that the audio quality never was fixable for me on AUX but I just stick to the OEM bluetooth.
