also update on the GPS issue - the lexus dealer said there's a recall that updates the nav that helps improve the location accuracy. It seems to be holding for now.

Yes, I installed this app. I connected Note10+ with AA and it works.

I also bought USB dongle for AA and CarPlay. But this app (beta version) better supports 1280x480.

You install this app on HU, connect (normal USB cable) your Android smartphone with AA. That's all.
Apple CarPlay - probably only USB dongle.

Hi, I have this head unit in my Lexus. It's a Navirider from Aliexpress. I installed it all by myself last August. I really enjoying it. I mostly use it with the Carplay dongle. Everything works perfectly but ... I can't use my touchpad ( I own a NX) when I use Carplay. Is anyone can help ? I can use my touchpad everywhere but not un Carplay.

there is a chance to install this screen only as a screen without the Android interface on it?
ive seen there are some annoying bugs and glitches to this system which I don’t like.
i thought of having this screen connected to the CarPlay kit by Beat-Sonic, is it possible?

I mean you MIGHT be able to install it with just the OEM harness and use it as just a display but that is a lot of money to pay just for a bigger screen that is touchscreen that won't have any other functionality.

Well, you’re right money wise it’s really not worth it, but I find the OEM screen really small.
As far as I see it l, that’s my only option(other then replacing my HU, Ac, screen and part of the dash with 17+ OEM parts).
i was trying to contact the Chinese seller if they’ve option to send me only the screen without the android function but it’s not possible(Maybe it will be possible to contact the manufacturer but I can’t find who it is).
I just want to verify this solution will really work, all I need is a big screen and CarPlay, I don’t care about all the other options and touch screen, that’s why I find Beat-Sonic as a better solution for me.
i guess it will be around 1200$ for me

Can someone who own the system confirm, if you connect the original harness to the screen, will it work? Ofc without the android function on it just making the screen work with the original car system.
