That’s not what I was asking, I want to connect the screen just as a screen without the android system, I was thinking of doing it by connecting the original car harness(not the harness supplied with the product).
i just wonder if the screen will turn on?(ofc without the android system)

You don't have to use the android system if you dont want to... but you do have to use their harness. it plugs in line with the oem harness... it's very simple to do. The OEM plugs do not connect directly to the screen without the supplied harness.

ok I see, that’s sucks, the reason I wanted to do it, is so I could use the screen with beat-sonic solution for CarPlay, some how it’s seems like their solution is more stable then the android system(messing with the backup camera, bt issues and etc)

If you read through the thread most the problems sound like they got ironed out via software updates.

I see, it’s really seems like that, but I saw the CarPlay function only working with the touch screen and not the **** so it’s not that functional(since the screen is too far).
i guess I’ll use beat-sonic solution and stay with the small screen.
thanks for the help

So this will be new/updated physical hardware, and for both nav/non-nav, or just those of us with nav? Have they indicated anything about the screen itself such as specs, or is the entire system itself being upgraded hardware-wise? Hopefully everything comes out shortly!
