hey, I’ve the wireless dongle as well for a week, and I can say that when it’s working it’s working really good(I’m using it with bt source).
my problem starts with the connection, sometimes I’ve Issues with the auto connect, for example when Waze is already running on the phone before the system fully started the connection fail and I’ve to close waze an connect via the phone bt to the auto kit.
second thing is that sometimes the wireless connection drop and after couple of seconds re connect.
can you please go to the android wireless setting and take a photo, I’ve only 2 bars from the auto kit dongle, I think it’s because I haven’t connect the 4g antenna which I believe is also the WiFi antenna but I’m not sure, I’m still waiting for confirmation before I take the screen of an connect the antenna.

Hmm, does API level mean real android version is much lower? Or does it just mean that the customised version is only targeting level 7.0 / 24 and above?

Also the behaviour of the screen brightness? is it linked to car headlights?

I'm not sure. Maybe it's Android 9, but Android 7 application program interface (API). The previous version of the device had API22 (Android 5.1)

Do you have futures like split screen? Can you open two apps on the screen at the same time?

My HU (previous version - 2GB, CortexA53/8Core 1.4GHz+) starts over a minute. This new version of the device is much faster?

I'll try and get a pic of the network settings the next time I am at home and have access to my IS (it's not my daily),
But I did not connect mt 4G Antenna either! Should we connect it? When I was unboxing and installing I assumed the 4G antenna would only be used if you paid for a monthly cellular service, like an ipad with cellular data. I did not think the 4G antenna provided free 4G?!!! If that is the case I need to go back and install it.

I never really noticed what my bars for the connection were, so I can't comment on that until I go look again, but I have not had a single disconnect issue yet. Maybe because my phone is mounted in sight and your phone is in the center console? Or maybe the 4G antenna would help?

So is the 4G signal free?!?
