On the Lexus AUX or AV side (whichever you're using) decrease your mid and increase your bass. Turn down all levels on the android side and make sure your recreational sound is between 25 and 30.

Ah cool. I thought about ordering the cheaper one but I felt more comfortable with the 4x4 one, i've heard their support is pretty good. Also, I plan on installing it myself with a help of a friend. Is it that difficult?

It’s not difficult it’s just tedious. It’s a bit of a pain tbh haha.
Tried it but the sound is very low. I’m going to add the oemaudioplus sound system later on so I’ll just deal with the lack of the sun for now.
I keep mine at 30 (75%) and the sound quality is much better then having it up at 40 (100%). Not sure if your's has the same max volume of 40 as mine but at 30 (75%) it's plenty loud.
installed it tonight. took my friend and i about 5 hours, it was tedious af. the worst part was routing the wires to the new screen. the carplay app did not come preinstalled so i had to search the internet and find it, but once i did. OH MAN it’s great! i didn’t know you could control carplay with the **** either, i thought it was touch screen only. Also my units sound sounds just as good as stock, maybe even better?

Which **** do you have? Base scroll wheel, F-Sport mouse, or F-Sport track pad? I am much more interested in this if CarPlay can work with my scroll wheel and not touch screen only.

i have the “scroll wheel” on my 200t f-sport, which is just the ****. afaik the IS has only came with the wheel or the mouse. ****=no nav, mouse=nav. i could be wrong but i’ve never seen anyone in this thread mention carplay being controlled with the ****, so it surprised me quite a lot.
