Looks good alright, but presuming you lose the mini-map on the instrument cluster?

One more question, those with factory nav, I've read some posts up than it sets your position for your car somewhere else for the factory nav? If i wanted to go back to factory nav with the 10.25 inch, would it still be usable? Also no bugs at the moment?

except for when you change the volume from the steering wheel, it doesn’t show on screen. Lol

Could that be because the top of the new screen is cropped? I read a few pages up that a apk file was needed from the seller to sort that out

Couple of things I wanted to share about the RC version
https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...17872fc25f2DfF
Like others have mentioned it is only on Android 7.1
The actual resolution is only 1280*480, I'm sure this is true for the IS versions as well. The screen still looks really crisp to me though despite it being only 480

NaviRider mentions the following on their listing
10.25inch screen resolution :1280*480 resolution
12.3inch screen resolution:1920*720 resolution
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...90954c4dp3fHHZ

The volume does change on screen when using the steering wheel controls, at least for the RC version

With my reverse camera it would not work at all until I connected the adapter and switched to the AV signal input. The LVDS signal input didn't even give me the option for original reverse camera like others had.

Also the mouse touchpad is horrible on the Android side, I think it tries to emulate the control **** or joystick. I would recommend getting a wireless mouse and use that instead or just touch the screen.
As far as the OEM Lexus side everything is still the same, nothing changes just a bigger screen.

It's not, at least for mine. Mine is 720p.

Yours seems to have a different SoC (Mediatek 6735) and is probably the most updated version. No wonder in the Navirider Aliexpress listing for the RC version they say
"2. 4gb ram+64gb rom option: Wifi /4G lte internet Android 9.0 MTK processor ( is coming soon.) "
I'm guessing this new version is already out for the IS but not the RC.
Dang if I would have waited a bit longer I could have got a true 720p screen

So I bought the NaviHua display unit from Alibaba. It just shipped today!

It's supposedly 720P and works with rear view camera. Stefan the rep said he checked with the engineers but I won't be surprised if it doesn't. Another member said it didn't work and he bought the same one and dealt with the same rep that said it doesn't lol.

Do you have a link to the adapter? I couldn't find it on 4X4.

Edit: just realized it was you that was helping me before lol

I ordered the one you got for my IS but cancelled it when I noticed it is a 480 screen and thanks to @whoismiked we found that they both have the split screen option. Have you tried out the split screen option?

Hey, I just ordered the 4X4 screen, and its coming in a few weeks or so..... How do you guys handle the GPS? Can you just unplug the antenna from the Lexus head unit and use that? (I don't care if the Lexus GPS app still works)

or can you buy a splitter ? or what?

The unit comes with it's own GPS antenna that you simply plug into the unit then mount wherever you want on your dash. No splitter needed

I do not believe there is a way to hook into the OEM GPS Antenna.

Just using someone else's picture posted above I circled in red the antenna I'm talking about.

ok, thanks.... hopefully the gps wire is easy to feed behind the dash.... i really don't want to have to dremel a hole back there...

Also does anyone know if the 4X4 unit has 1 or 2 USB Type A ports... the 4x4 support team quit emailing me back lol
