I think it's the 2nd generation screen which has Android 9.0.
4x4 shop is selling it....although that NX has the 360 degree exterior camera view, this doesn't.
First 7:55 is the instillation but after that you can see what it looks like. Much quicker, 4GB ram, 64GB rom

1. Did you connect the small black speaker that was included in the kit? Check the settings, the default navigation app. When you choose Google Maps for example, you will be able to listen to the radio and have notifications from this app.
2. Yes, the touchpad - doesn't work. They could add a cursor. And it would work as it should.
3. You can buy a matte screen protector - and cut.

im looking at 10.25 screen protectors for other cars and have inquired about overall size to see if it will fit.

Yours has a picture of a car but the one I have (and 4x4shop unit) has a clock on the right. Also you can download an app from playstore that will tell you if you have a 720p HD screen or a 480 screen and also tell you the full real specs of the unit. It was mentioned on here afew pages up

and to be fair, I purchased it knowing the advertising could be off. So now let’s see if I can get a partial refund.
overall I like it. If 4x4 had it for my car I would have purchased from them at a higher price. I don’t mind paying a higher price considering the customer support they’ve provided you guys.

Agreed. It’s still worth it the money I spent. If I was broke or struggling then it’s definitely not worth the money lol. The phone mirroring, apps, navigation and other features make it worth it. Now I’m just exploring and trying to check out all the settings.

Which phone mirroring apps do you use?

Lol I just noticed this thread is the 2nd most viewed normal thread on the 3IS side, which tells me many people hate the OEM system and want Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto and the other goodies of these android screens haha. It really is a billion times better than the stock infotainment system not to mention the tiny screen if you don't have the stock bigger screen.

Basically I'm telling everyone expect Android 7 and 1280x480, if you can accept that, you'll be fine and happy.

I have the wireless dongle, I use the APK app it said to install but I installed a few other apps from the Play Store to try out.
I tried this one out and it worked well. I'm still going to try a few more out.
