Hey guys,
Anybody know how much a track day will wear down brakes, tires, & everything else? Im gonna be signing up for a track day and just want to know what to expect. My tires and brakes are new so I dont wanna sign up if I’m gonna have to replace them again

If my experience in the canyons told me anything, expect to use a good bit of your brake pads. 30 mins of 7/10, 8/10 driving wore down my pads by ~4mm (this is kind of a guess. For reference I’ve only put 7100 miles on my current pads). Brake fluid definitely boiled. Tires seem ok.
Other things:
If I were you I’d at least tape the front of my car and around the wheel arches. And expect dirt to fly onto your windshield (depends on which track and how close you get to others).
I was gonna do a track day the weekend after the canyon run but thought it wiser to inspect where I stood. Glad I checked.
Obviously canyons are canyons, and tracks are tracks. Hopes this helps anywho
