Hello, I am looking for winter tires and rims for my 2016 Lexus IS300 AWD and was thinking about using 225/45/17 Tires w/ steel rims. I was wondering if this would work....as I am aware that calipers may be too big for the steel rims. Is this only the case for 350 fsport and not the 300 fsport?

Physical size of the brakes are the same for the 200t/300/350 (F Sport or not)...so whatever fits one will fit all.
And yes, you can use the 17 inch package for the winter...I will be.
I'm going to use a set of OEM 2IS 17 inch rims and tires.

Do you have an IS250? Cause a 16 inch will fit it, but not a 200t/300/350.
I suppose with a very specific 16 inch rim with a low offset, it might fit, but that would be like finding a needle in a hay stack.

You should be able to find out online as well...at Tirerack.com or 1010tires.com.
17 inch wheels will fit, just not sure about steel wheels.
Although you can usually find 17 inch allow wheels cheap if you're not looking for anything fancy. It is for winter after all.
