I honestly didn't feel turbo lag in the NX like I do in my 200t. NX felt peppy and responsive. A lot easier to spin up two axles direct below the engine than a long driveshaft going all the way to the back.

As far as ES350 i drove one before too. i felt the engine to be coarse. i'm sure it works better in RWD configuration (in terms of smoothness/noise) as does the 8AR does in RWD vs FWD.

The new ES chassis is supposed to be a class leader handling wise.

Did you floor it or get on the gas in any way in the NX? It definitely has turbo lag, most noticeable if you are already rolling and drop a couple gears to pass/merge.

Yep. There's some but it wasnt as noticeable as in the IS. Just felt more direct and eager to go.

Interesting. I wonder if the drive-by-wire delay the IS has been known to have also plays a role. Even in my 300 AWD there's some lag - hence why the Apexi throttle controller is popular.
