I just purchased a Lexus IS 250 , and I’ve been noticing when I'm completely in stop at the traffic light some very slight vibration through the steering wheel almost unnoticeable , I just want to know if is something normal since my car already has 3 years old or there is something wrong, also you have to turn off the radio and pay attention to realize what I’m saying and when the AC is off there is not noticeable vibration , it disappears completely
the car has 36000 miles.

Cant say I've experienced this in my IS350, but in my previous car, a 2004 V6 Camry, the only time I would feel vibrations through the steering wheel in traffic would be due to worn engine mounts. For that to occur on a 3 year old car though, no idea. Just my 2 cents. Maybe start by inspecting those parts.

I mean when you put both hands on the steering wheel when the car is stopped (parking , drive or reverse ), do you feel the same like when the car is off??

With both hands on the steering wheel when at a stop (engine is just idling, vehicle is not moving, either parking, drive, or reverse), I did feel vibrations through the steering wheel. When the car is off, no... I wouldnt feel it because the engine is not running. You shouldnt feel anything with the car off.

I mean if you can feel through the steering wheel when the engine is running or not, once I drove a MB c300 and I couldn't tell when the engine was running or if it was off. I think the IS is not as refined as others german cars.

I have a 2014 IS350 and have had this since purchasing the car new. If you are experiencing the same thing I am, I have read it is normal behavior.

I would go test drive another IS250 and see if they do the same. you might want to check into maintenance. spark plugs in particular may help slightly. at 36k i doubt your engine mounts are going bad, but anything is possible. you are probably just being picky. car engines can sometimes vibrate while stopped. your car engine is causing multiple explosions every second while trying to twist the rear wheels as you have your foot on the brake preventing it from going. so there will likely be some vibration felt at times as you are essentially causing your car to fight itself while stopped.

Yes, I have to turn off the radio and pay attention to realize, otherwise it is unnoticeable .

I experienced this with my previous car, The vibration tend to happen when you are idle and the engine is at a low rpm. I also notice if you step on gas while remaining in neutral and stop position, thereby increasing the rpm of the car, the vibration went away.

With that said, on a 3 years old car, in my opinion shouldnt have to deal with that yet.. >.<
