Just drove a 2015 350 F Sport RWD, my thoughts...

100% agree. The acceleration feels a bit peppier all the time, thanks to the more aggressive gearing of the RWD model, but up top is where it's most noticeable.

I have and not really that impressed. The F30 steering is blah. The turbo lag is also not my cup of tea. I got my fully loaded IS350 for $45k and it was comparable to the 328 in price and not the 335 which was $8k more. I was going to get the 335 but the steering feel killed it for me. The Audi S4 wasn't released when I got my car but that would have been a consideration. The only thing going for the turbo cars is straight line speed. The IS is competitive in driving dynamics. Would I get the IS350 now? Probably not as it's old and need of refreshing but it was a great car when it was released.
There was virtually no turbo lag but what killed me was the 5k redline rpm.

Poor Service at Johnson Lexus of Raleigh
Since Lexus has 'closed' their forum for customer service (and I know why), I have decided to post my concerns here....as follows:
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO JOHNSON LEXUS OF RALEIGH. They did a HORRIBLE job of repairing a minor dent in my 2016 IS 350. I bought it new and take exceptional care of it so it's very frustrating (and unfair). Each time I pick it up it has so much debris on it I can't see the new damage until I wash it at home the following day.
Initially there was a very noticeable issue with the actual paint job, which they rectified. But there are still issues with fish-eyes in the clear coat, and scratches on the bumper, quarter panel, and trunk. They marred the protective laminate on the bumper. There are dings in the bumper as well (they had to remove the bumper for the repair). The body panels do not line up where the bumper meets the quarter panels. There was grit on the trunk and rear window that I couldn't remove. A tremendous overall a lack of attention to detail especially since I bought the car new (at there location). It is clear their repair work caused the new damages!
I posted this experience here because Lexus no longer allows for feedback on customer service. Lexus Customer Service (archive)
The Lexus Customer Service forum on Club Lexus has been inactivated at this time, but past posts will be left as a visible archive forum for a period of time.
The last time I picked it up I noticed the finish on two (2) of the clear-coated wheels on the side that was repaired are etched....apparently by some corrosive liquid that got on them during the repair process. We all know that the wheels often make or break the car's appearance and the wheels are what really makes (or made) this car stand out. Johnson Lexus of Raleigh ruined them.
I am still dealing with the issue, which has fallen on deaf ears. I have called supervisors (Kevin and Rick) and they just point me to the people that they sub it out to (Accu-Rite??). I'm certain it's because they know I will not be upgrading my car (because it's new). I received outstanding service when I had an older Lexus (because they knew I would upgrade one day...I used to tell them that).
Prior to selecting them for the repair, Robert, the sub/contact for Lexus, explained to me that he personally inspects each and every car that goes out and that my dent was an "easy fix". What a joke that is. I selected JL of Raleigh mostly because they were the dealership and assumed they would do a great job, but that is not the case. I have dropped the car off four (4) times and each time there is new, subsequent damage. They have no integrity and I have spent days dealing with them. Do NOT take your car here!!!! Absolute rubbish!!

Yes, I realize that. I posted it here because Lexus no longer 'allows' for posts regarding customer service. See below.

No, I don't. I have contemplated installing it, but I am not sure it's worth it. I can say that in the 350, the acceleration felt just a touch stronger, which is roughly as expected. It does have more power up top and more aggressive second and third gears. I think I really felt the power difference right around the 5000 RPM mark, as it felt like it kept pulling, unlike the 300 which kinda dies out.
The tune for a IS300 is a better bang for your buck versus getting it for the IS350. The IS300 pulls harder to redline and if you are in manual mode then all the way to 7200 RPM. I believe it would be faster than a stock IS350.

However I don't care so much about that - the thing that stood out to me about the RWD model was the improvement in steering feel and response. Though, I am still tempted to go for the tune because more power = easy fun, lol.

I drove an FSport 200t as a loaner one time, and I might ruffle some feathers, but it did not feel anywhere near the same as my 350 FSport.. Obvious difference in power, but a big difference in suspension feel as well.

Makes me wonder how many people have got to experience a 350 F-Sport RWD.... maybe I'm just an easy person to please, but it hits all the buttons for me. Only thing I wish it had was more lower end, but I knew that beforehand. Its everything I expected, wanted, and more.

What EZZ said, the 350 FSport is the only one that has AVS. When I drove the 200t, I did notice the turbo lag. The 200t overall felt lighter, but not in a way that I liked. The 350 FSport feels solid, firmer, stiffer, just overall sportier relative to the 200t. The 200t had a driving experience that felt economy, but in a luxury trim if that makes any sense at all.
