Default turn signal rapid flash

i stumbled upon this on youtube today, not sure if anyone else has seen or tried this but it works on my 2017 IS350. Dealer wanted to charge me for changing the personal settings that the typical computer needs to change. I dunno, i was pretty excited. The standard 3 flash makes me nervous people don't see me moving over.

Yes this worked!! I brought my car to the dealer and they said it couldn't be changed to 5 flashes. Lazy bastards!

Nice! Going to give it a try too. The three flashes get done sometimes even before i've crossed over the lane marker

It WOULD have been free at my dealership as well, but they claimed that it couldn't be changed (in all fairness this is not listed as one of the dealer "adjustments" option list they give owners). Again it most likely comes down to laziness...just like ever other "could not replicate" work order they produce lol

Dealer changed mine as well for free. You have the option of 3,5,7, or 9 flashes for the quick blinker.

Does the automatic wiper sensor button have to be off to start the procedure?
