See Arentz07, i don't need this one as a loaner either since his review reminds me of the 2018 I had lol, car felt huge and drove much bigger than it is. No kidding when i said the RX drove smaller than the ES. It's a case of " don't believe the hype"...... They are killing the GS for this... how sad...
I am very interested to see how the ES F Sport drives. If you think about it, of course Lexus isn't dumb enough to mess with their (apparently) winning formula for the ES. So I am not surprised the regular ES drives the same.

Cant believe we are having trouble finding a 2019 IS350F in the NE in the color she wants..the darker grey without Red interior...Did you guys order or buy from inventory?

I had to have my dealership get mine from another dealership in a different state. It took them 2 weeks. There wasn’t a single USB 2.0 one in all of my state for sale.

I had to order one - there was no IS 350 I wanted in the inventory in the US anywhere....
But I got the car as I wanted .. took just about 3 months, almost exactly to the day.
I was also debating ES but didn't like its front drive "feel" and mushy steering.
The IS is the driver's car.
But I needed another car for my winter skiing trips and FWD/AWD is better here - got myself a slightly used RX350.

i've been loaned the ES350 a few times when taking my car for service. i personally can't live with the front wheel. if you try to turn aggressively into a corner, you get some serious nose dive and unstable traction when trying to accelerate. FWD seriously compromises the driving experience.... always happy to get my car back. the F-sport ES might have a more rigid suspension setup and stickier tires than the standard ES, but still wouldn't have it.

I mean the nose dive, body roll, etc. are just because it has a soft suspension. The front-wheel drive, transverse-engine aspect of it certainly doesn't help with balance when you're cornering hard though. I mean I wouldn't say my old Camry SE was floaty or had too much body roll, but it was the "sporty" version of the Camry. Did it handle well, though? Not particularly. I'd say the suspension made it feel more agile than the ES 350 loaners I have had though, even if the grip isn't actually different.

Oh well...Wife will be getting the ES..she thought the IS was OK but was more impressed with the ES's interior/over all size and hated the narrow foot well in the IS..I think she will mis AWD in inclimate weather...But she likes what she likes

ES hands down. IS is way too small if you just want a comfortable luxury car. ES would certainly be better for commutes, reducing stress.

Though, there is something to be said for having a comfy ride and plenty of space. It would make a good car to run errands or go on a road trip. All the best!

Both cars are excellent; you can't go wrong with either.
It really depends on what you are into. The sporty-feel or the comfortable-feel. For me, I'll go with the IS350 F-Sport.
