what are the differences between the 2018 and the 2019 lexus is? is it worth it to pay more or should I just get the 2018?
The option of Premium Triple-Beam LED Headlights is available for the 2019 MY IS. That's the only major difference I know of, but you could read the press kit for yourself to double-check: http://pressroom.lexus.com/releases/...+press+kit.htm
Yes, it's just the new headlight option as an option. That's it - everything else is the same as the 2018.
The interior trim is different as well, the pattern.

This is one mod I'm going to figure out how to do in the future; add the factory memory seats to my 2018 F Sport. I'll bet anything the wiring harness is the same, so it'd just be a matter of buying the parts and hooking it up (I'm hoping). It can't be that difficult.
Not sure. I was lucky enough to get a 2017, 2018 & 2019 real paper brochure at the dealership when I bought my car, and the pictures show it clearly. I find the brochures are just easier to look at and see differences, most times, but the manufacturers get pretty tricky sometimes, using last year's pictures but photoshopping new bits in.
2019 f sports don’t get memory seats as an option again... i just noticed it
Honestly one of the the biggest jokes in the industry right now. A 2019 "luxury car" without memory seats. That is standard on just about every luxury car out there, let alone an upgraded trim such as F-Sport.

Memory seats are not standard on the 3 series or A4, only the C-Class (from the German rivals) comes standard with them.
However, I agree with the sentiment. On the top-trim IS 350 F Sport, they should be available, at the very least.
I'm sure they were trying to separate the luxury model from the sport model in as many ways as they could. But I think if they had known that there would be such a backlash on it, they would have made them an option at least.
