Glad you made it safely, Did you notice any damage from rock to the painter's tape?

I definitely did, especially on the passenger side front hood area. Part of the tape was marred by a rock. I highly recommend taping the entire front end before doing any road trip from now on. Including A pillars and part of the roof. Fenders are pretty pristine, to my surprise. But definitely full hood and full bumper... and side mirrors. Notes for next time...

Totally worth the expense IMO. 10 years of warranty against yellowing or anything else crazy like that so that’s nice too.
