Several of my friends have had to wait months to get them because they sell out of stock so fast in certain sizes. Mostly the larger (255/265/275) 18" sizes.

I had to wait months for my rears. Got them from simpletire.com. I got the last two in the US at the time. Even firestone couldn't locate any. Simpletire had them.

Just got a quote for $704 with road hazard out ther door, this seems like the best option. Also thinking of getting lifetime alignment since i plan on keeping this car for a while.

Probably worth mentioning this is not universally true. The Ultra High-Performance all-season variety that is popular on this car will probably be comparably loud. I will say the stock Turanza EL-400-02 tires are pretty loud on some surfaces, but my BFGs are quieter in some scenarios and louder in others... Overall I'd say they are a touch louder at highway speed but quieter around town. Weird stuff, but probably makes sense. Though in general yes, and I think some of the UHP AS tires, like the DWS06, are pretty quiet.

Agreed, it's not always true. But in general, as a Summer tire starts to wear, they get much louder than the AS will be. Not sure at all why Lexus chose the terrible Turanza for this car, I mean, it had to be a money thing. REALLY bad tire compared to many others.

I totally agree, that has to be one of the very lowest-rated tires on Tire Rack. On top of that, it's expensive! "First mod: tires" should be the takeaway here.

The F Sports I know of, at least in CA, got summer tire option. Did you guys have any of those offered on your dealer lots or are they all all seasons? At my dealer Longo Lexus, they were all summer rubber.

I didn't have an option (Missouri). And my window sticker says "all season tires" as well.

The weird thing is that they made a typing error on my window sticker as well. Yeah, I'm that guy. lol

I am pretty sure the AWD models, at least, were only available with all-seasons here.

Mine came with summer tires. I would imagine it depends on the climate of the area you buy in.

The Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ start making that wind howling sound at like 70-80 mph but you get used to it. I got used to it not to mention the music drowns out the noise, but I could see where people wouldn’t be able to tolerate it d: I just got them installed on my IS because I needed tires for the winter and I refuse to buy winter tires when it hardly snows. The A/S 3+ is a great tire though, I’ve been rocking them on my G37S for most of the time I have owned that car. I had Michelin PSS summer tires on it before that and while those had hardcore grip and awesome wet traction the A/S 3+ are pretty damn good too.

This tells people everything they need to know about the A/S3. The Conti DW is a superior tire for less money.

Lol it’s not that bad. But I’m not going to argue over which tire is better blah blah. In terms of performance the Michelin A/S 3+ can’t be beat in the A/S segment, but the noise is pretty harsh and you have to take into account the price point and the inner tire wear that our cars have. I’m just all about the best grip I can get and the best quality which is Michelin. I was debating the Continental’s though since they seem to be pretty good for our cars from what people on the forums are saying. I wouldn’t say the DW’s are superior though, a better overall package for our cars, yes, but not a superior tire in terms of performance. When warm weather comes around, I’ll probably get the Firehawk Indy’s.
