Brakes squealing when going reverse
Do you guys have any ideas to why my brakes squealing when reversing? I have a IS 200T F sport 2016. Everytime i apply the brakes and slowly reverse, it makes a loud squealing noise.

I've already replaced the pads before, and I don't notice any sounds when braking during drive. It only occurs during reverse.
Thanks

Mine does the exact same thing, although I switched to Akebono pads. Squeal goes away immediately when driving forward, and really only does it backwards if the car has been sitting for a while (or it's cold/wet). You could try reinstalling with some anti-squeal but it eventually wears away.

These brakes get dirty faster so can sometimes need frequent washing to help mitigate noise. High temp brake grease to pad bracket contact areas on caliper or pad frame can help too. I use the high temp purple stuff. I also put a slight amount on the back of the pad shim and between the shim AND the pad too. The idea is to damp out any high frequency vibrations (the source of noise) My newest set of F Sport pads has no noise whatsoever. About 5k in.

I had some pretty bad squealing due to the rotors being scored, but it was happening even in warm weather. Squealing in cold weather is considered par the course.
