If I could get a copy of that manual that would be great.

I agree and I thank you for some of the DIY you have done like replacing the brake pads really helpful. Here I thought it'd be conplicated since it's a newer car when it's actually a lot more simple than I thought.

Im sure if you tried searching, you could find it. I came across it by chance.
If I would've known there was a service manual floating around this post would've never been created it would be nice if they stickied it somewhere so we know to look there and not have to scavenger around looking. Thanks though I actually found it in the forum.

There are a few DIYs in the FAQ/DIY sticky that for some reason aren't showing up. I've got a request out to find out why.

Note that we cannot allow copyrighted service manuals to be posted on our forum per our rules please.

Sorry no - Lexus legal dept has come after us in the past for this and well defined in our rules. No posting of links, offers to PM, etc. It's illegal and causes significant issues, so please don't post.

I actually didn't realize it was a Lexus product.

Maybe post a link in the DIY section as to where it can be purchased legally. It can't be that expensive.

We can do that (and have in the past when folks have asked).

Lexus offers these materials online

Toyota offers easy and immediate access to many service publications online through the Technical Information System (TIS). TIS is available to the public through a subscription. Subscriptions to this information service can be purchased for daily, monthly or annual access.

TIS provides access to all of the key service, maintenance, and reference publications necessary to support Toyota vehicles including:

Collision repair manual
Electrical wiring diagram
Owner's manual
Repair manual
Technical Service Bulletins (TSB)
Information is generally available for U.S. market vehicles starting from the 1990 model year, but specific information can be found in the TIS Library Content table. Please note that this site does not include any part catalog, ordering, or application information.
Don't have to buy something massive, just subscribe for a limited period to get what you need

Oh and merged with earlier request for DIY threads... nominate them if they're out there and we can get them added to the sticky (once I figure out why the ones that were added from earlier requests aren't showing up)

Slightly off topic but as far as stickies go, If I may make a suggestion, I think the "Post a pic of your 3IS right NOW thread" should be the "What you did for your 3IS today" thread.

The latter is must more common on automotive forums and makes a lot more sense and would see a lot more activity. I think some have been using the original thread for the purpose of the latter.

The 2IS forum has it.

I have been debating whether I want to upgrade to LED turning indicators recently, and this thread gave me a good confidence boost: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ED+turn+signal
