Tire Help - 2015 IS350 F-Sport

I'd normally only recommend the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 for OUR cars, but they can be a bit on the noisy side over stock. Just slightly though.
But between all the tires for this car, they're all low profile so don't expect it to be ES quiet.
If you want the quietest in any class, it's going to be Michelin. And that means money.
Honestly I'd forget about the road noise concern. Par for the course with this class of car. Noise means feel and this class of car is engineered to feel (and grip). By nature of having wide tires, the car is just going to be noisier overall compared with something like an ES.

I've driven an IS equipped with the Continental DWS06 and thought they were quieter than my BFG G-Force Comp-2s.

When I drove that 2018 this weekend at the dealer, I thought it was a lot quieter - then I realized it still had the OEM tires.

FWIW... I went with the Eagle Sports this last time around and love the in comparison to the A/S3+ Michelins. If it's your daily, you loose some fun the few times you don't have a car in front of you on an exit ramp but everything else is worth the tradeoff IMO. My A/S3+ crapped out in 8K miles.

Asking out of curiosity. This is my second set. I love the tires. Handle well, not too soft and snow performance was surprising. I can confirm that they do get louder as they wear. 12,000mi on this set, and thwy have become louder on the highway. Also, one of the front tires is making a clunking / knocking sound when taking wide curves, audible between 30-40mph only. Recently had the car in for service, and they found nothing wrong with the suspension components. I also had my wheels re-finished, and the front tires were switched. The noise is now audible when taking curves in the other direction, lol. I suspected a bad wheel bearing (noise appears on a curve, on the opposite, loaded side of the vehicle) but I am now suspecting the tire is the cause.

My first set of AS3+ lasted only 6 months, came out one morning to find a flat (sidewall puncture) and the other 3 tires had bubbles on the sidewall. I live in toronto and in winter our roads are ridiculous especially the gardiner expressway. It's like driving on a teenagers face. And my god they're loud.

awww please don't tell me this is true... I really want to get these tires when my existing BF Goodrich tires are done (previous owner put them on, but they're not too bad). I have access to a pretty big Firestone discount, and these tires have great reviews too. I don't want a lot of noise though because I travel on the highway a lot.
