Weird Noise when Braking/Driving
So the noise started recently, actually it started after Lexus replaced one of my tires since it had a flat. They did say I needed to change the brakes soon. Whenever I brake, all I hear is a screeching sound, and it stays making that noise for the duration of the ride. It doesn't go away. I'm sure I might need to replace my brake pads but why would the car keep making that screeching sound afterwards? I haven't had time to go back to Lexus, they probably installed the rim wrong?? Anyone heard of this before?

Could be you need new pads. Metal arm is rubbing on the rotor to tell you you need new pads.
You'll need new pads every 15k miles. 20 on the high end.
Rotors too.

Even if the day before it was fine? There was some sound after braking but never this loud or ongoing after not stopping. I'm at 21,000 miles, I think my RX-8 had brake pads that lasted much longer and I used to drive that car like I stole it. I barely speed and stop constantly on my IS.
