Default New wheels. Looking for advice.

Hi everyone,

I have a 2015 IS 350 F Sport AWD. I'm planning to get new aftermarket wheels. I'm really set on the Aodhan AH08 in hyper black. I'm going with a staggered setup of 18x8.5 +35 offset in the front and 18x9.5 +30 offset in the back. I emailed a representative from Fitment Industries and they said that it may cause some fender rubbing/pulling. I also have another concern.

I checked the stock OEM wheel specs and their offset is +40 in the front and +50 in the back I believe. I got this information from another thread on here. I'm on mobile, so I'll link it when I can.

Thank you again for your time. I really hope this setup will work.

You’d be better off with +38-45 in the back. I have 19” on my AWD with +32f +42r also lowered on RSR downs.

The front will be ok, I'm running 19 X 8.5 +32 and I clear the fender no problem.
Your rear setup wont be a good fit. You need more offset.
I'm running 19 X 10 +48 and I barely fit within the fender. You'll extend an extra 12mm, 1/2" further than my setup which will either be in line with fender or a couple mm past.
I'm RWD on Tien coil overs.

Is a staggered setup typical for AWD ?

The front will be fine, the rear will likely rub on the fender.

To mromano's question, the F Sport comes with the staggered setup, RWD or AWD, doesn't matter.
Around Ontario most of the 3IS's are AWD, and a lot of people like the look of the staggered setup.
