I was driving along yesterday in the city. No major bumps. I heard a single, loud snap/cracking sound in the cabin.
It was loud and I was startled. Was not the passenger seat belt. Nothing in glove box. Exterior looks fine.
Sounded like plastic, perhaps around the console? It was still above freezing.....
before this recent cold blast in the Northeast happened.

Funny, I usually have a plastic-sounding rattle on the passenger side in cold weather,
that now seems to have disappeared. Hopefully, this was a one-off quirk or something.
I thought I would mention it here, just in case someone else had this happen.

I get this too especially in the morning when its cold mind you not east coast weather. I remember it bothering me along with squeaks. Do your brakes also squeak when going in reverse in the morning when its cold?
