My official first post!
Anyone else have issues with the Mark Levinson Amp for IS 350 FSport 2014-present?
My speakers still work, but did the system check at it shows : B15C3 AMP
I hear crackling noise, started intermittently but now I have to leave my audio off.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you! 🙂
B15C3 is Speaker Output Short...so that likely explains the crackling.
The good news is there's only 3 possibilities: a speaker, the amp, or a wire between a speaker and the amp.
The bad news is you have 15 speakers...yikes...but at least some of them are doubled up.
Looks like the code just occurred 4 days ago.
If you know someone with an IS that has the ML system, you could swap amps to see of the problem moves to their car, or if their amp cures your problem.
If it'snot the amp, then you're hunting a bad speaker or wiring. That could take a little time to figure out.
Thanks! I will look into that..
My local dealer wants $1025 for a new amp without install
Reached our to ML directly and they suggested United Radio to fix my AMP.
By any chance, do you know how to shut off the media system all together?
The amp is easy enough to replace. If you get the part number of it, just search eBay...I'm sure you'll find one for cheap.
If you want to kill the media system, it would be a matter of removing the appropriate fuses.
If you just want to kill the amp, but have everything else work, just go under the drivers lower dashpanel, find the fuse box on the left and remove the 30A AMP NO.1 & 30A AMP NO. 2 fuses. That will kill all power to the amp.

Thanks for all the help! I will try it out this weekend!
