Radio doesnt match year model
I bought my car from dealership. used 2014 is250 f-sport. Radio receiver broke down. I've been looking online for radio recivers and found alot of options. However, I noticed that most of the 2014 radio receivers do not have a SD card slot. But, 2015 models due. Could it be that I have a 2015 year model or radio has been switched?

I mean maybe? It would be wise to stick with your year as well as your market. If youre located in the US with a 2014 IS With Navigation, then source another US 2014 IS With Navigation Radio!

Well this turned out to be alot worse then I thought. I see NO radio receiver with nav for the 2014 model. Can I use a non nav radio receiver? Will the radio still work even without the nav?

This is the part that was replaced in my car when the nav system went wonky (at least it's what shows on the invoice).

5k. that garbage isn't worth $50. 3IS non ML is one of the worst systems ever stock.
adding a sub barely made it tolerable.
this is the year of the 3IS radio failure. someone one needs to come up with a fix for the community. maybe a capacitor? something wonky is going on.
this isnt exactly an easy car to install aftermarket stuff in.

The Faceplate ID is located at the bottom left of the face of the radio.
It should start with the letter "P"...I think it's 5 digits long total.
If you're looking for a radio, search for the Faceplate ID...no matter what car or year it came out of, the Faceplate ID guarantees you get the exact radio you need.
