Airbag suspension is something I want, but tbh coughing up $4k for parts alone seems like a steep hill to climb. Is it common to buy things in pieces? (Airlift Front Kit/ Rear Kit/ Air Management).

You can .. it is sold in 3 parts as you mentioned. Front, rear, and management with tank/manifold/compressor

 

Yes... Air is expensive.

 

you can go for the more affordable options and get bags over coils and that will bring you closer to low mid 3k or buy a used kit from someone for like 2500
