I am considering the 2016 IS200t and I've noticed that they do not come equipped with a backup camera.

Is it possible to get the OEM camera from anywhere? If not, are there any recommended backup cameras that people have installed?

If I were you, I would simply try to find an IS 200t that comes with a backup camera. Many on the dealer lots were ordered with them. Sorry if this doesn't really answer the question, but just wanted to make you aware that it is possible that there's an IS for you with a camera installed already.

I went the OEM route - costs more but wanted guaranteed plug and play - read the thread below to make sure you have the right harness already installed. I also cite the parts that are required via OEM.

I thought the same thing. I never seen an 3rd gen without a backup camera

It was an option for 2014-17. 2018 is when it became standard.
