2017 Base model Grille to F-Sport Grille
Searched and someone asked the same question in one of the thread with no answers.
Will like to know for 2017 base & f-sport model -
1) Are their grille interchangeable?
2) Beside the grille, can the side meshes (pointed to in attached) of F-sport be added to base model?
I know 2016’s will require full bumper change for F-sport conversion and is hoping not the case for 2017’s. Appreciate any advice.

The outward vents won't fit, but the grille will.
Of course now I can't find the topic I had originally pulled this image from. I had saved this picture from a post with a member who had done the grille swap. I can't remember if it was a direct swap or if he had to tweak it slightly.
Edit: Here's an image showing why the outward vents won't fit. The F Sport vents are a bit larger and need those holes to clip into.

Yes the grill is a direct swap, but if I remember correctly from a previous member who done this there are some differences. The brake cooler ducts are not a direct fit, so those also need to be purchased to route properly and the faux side vents will not fit without the above cut out slots. I don’t think he hooked up the ducts on his at the time, so it’s a matter of preference I’d say, but I would want them to still be functional.

The bumper has the cut out marks (confirmed for the bottom piece of the grille, haven't checked for the sides, will confirm in the spring once I install mine).
You need to swap other parts apparently to fit the whole thing fit, but it looks like you can modify what's there to make it work. Again, I'll be able to confirm all this once I do the swap on my base bumper.

The base bumper has markings on it for you to cut out in order to fix the faux grilles.
I installed mine today, you'll also need the F Sport backing, since the base one will no longer work.
And some new clips for it to work.
More info on the reddit link in my signature.
