Default 2019 IS300 F-Sport - Brake Pedal sticking/stuttering?

Hi All! Picked up my 2019 IS 300 F-Sport 2 weeks ago! I noticed this from the beginning but figured it would go away after a bit of driving.

When I press the brake pedal, it feels like the pedal has a bit of stuttering/sticking feeling the first inch or 2 it goes down. Not exactly sure how to explain it besides that. It just isn't smooth going down. The brake and everything else works perfectly fine. Just the feeling isn't normal/smooth.

Took is to Lexus today and after the technicians drove other 2019's... I was told this is normal since the other 2019 IS's feel the same.

Wanted to ask other 2017-2019 owners if this is a common issue or if anyone else has felt this brake pedal problem.

Thanks!

I've never experienced such an issue with my 2016.

Did YOU drive the other cars, or did the technician? I would not take the tech's word for it.

If you feel there is something wrong, bring it back again to the dealer then have one of the tech drive it with you. Most of the time you have to specifically drive the car with them so they can see how are you doing it, then they can replicate it.

I just switched from a 2016. I don't have any issues on my 2019 IS 300 F Sport. The braking is basically the same, haven't noticed any issues. I'd go again to the dealer, sometimes you need to go twice and tell them to same problem for them to actually look at it. I mean the car is brand new, it shouldn't have any problems to begin with.

Yeah, I had a technician drive it this morning while I rode in the car. He noticed what I was describing. But once he or another tech compared it with another 2019, it was deemed normal.

I myself will be driving another 2019 tomorrow to make sure that is accurate. But from another thread I just read, seems like this might be normal but not noticeable to all.

I made a thread on this when I got a 2019 also. I tried the showroom car and some on the lot. They all do this. I truly do not notice it any more after adjusting to the feeling.

Is it possible that some of the owners have adjusted to whatever feeling this is? lol

I will say, the brake pedal can seem grabby when the brakes are cold, especially if it's cold outside or has recently rained.
