Smile Headlight Tint

Curious? Can you use window tint for headlight tint? Any places that can do it in Dallas/Fort Worth?

plastidip does NOT look okay. Not even on a 2005 Scion beater.

My "noooo" was aimed at the fact that you're tinting your headlights! Please don't.....

I agree. Do not tint the headlights.

However, if you want a darker looking headlight, I would suggest to pay someone to paint the inside of the headlight housing, not the clear part, but the surface behind the bulbs etc. Doesnt restrict light output and looks really good. Some other members have done this same procedure.

Dont do the fronts. A light smoke to the rear is ok, although your liable in an accident if it’s discovered.
Fronts are simply a bad idea, I dunno about you but I already find the lights on the the IS not very bright, high beams yes but regular lights no, so u don’t IMO have any light output to spare... also front headlights take a beating from all the stuff that hits them day to day and regardless of whether you do plasti dip, overlay tint or VHT night shades it will eventually look like crap. I’ve done all them. If u want darker headlights, as last guy suggested, either DIY and open headlights and paint the silver black...or find a person that can do it.

never wanted to do the front headlights just the rear tail lights. havent thought about "accidents" situations thank for pointing that out.

thats actually a good idea. i wanna do it myself but didnt really think about taking my headlights apart. afraid of taking it apart and put it back together. it may be easy for other people but sounds alil harder to me.
