should i get my transmission fluid changed? how much is the typical charge for that?

You should have your diff fluid checked/changed pronto! But the trans fluid, well, that's up to you apparently.

I'm at 70,000 miles and my dealer said they don't have a "flush" machine, so the best they could do is just drain and refill.
Should I find a place that can do a complete flush or would a drain and refill be sufficient?

The "flushes being bad" stories are old wives tales. Flushes is a stupid word anyway. I've talked about this at length on bmw forums where some criticise replacing fluids on high mileage trans as a precursor to failure because you've now dislodged crud which was holding things together.

Does anybody know if the AWD IS's transfer case oil can be changed? I know that the differentials and transmission fluid are serviceable, but what about the transfer case? I heard that on some BMWs, the transfer case for the xDrive system does not have a drain plug, which seems insane to me. You'd have to take apart the underside of the car, pull out the transfer case and literally tip it over in order to drain the fluid.

I believe my 06 started slipping after I used it to haul flooring that literally made the car low at around 280k ever since then i felt slippage so i made it to 320k.
