Default Removing resonator on a lease

If I remove the resonator on my exhaust will it effect my warranty I heard the exhaust isn't covered under warranty so if it isnt than I can do what I want right ?

It will void the exhaust component warranty nothing else. if you ever needed warranty work regarding your exhaust they may/may not honor it due to your resonators missing.

It would void warranty on that component and it would give them reason to not approve warranty repair if you hypothetically had an emissions issue later down the line

So you'd have it welded back in when you return it? Be better-off replacing either the axle-back or cat-back as they can be unbolted then you can return it to stock more easily, but of course a muffler/res delete would cost far less. How about a used system, then you could turn around and re-sell it when done?

Do you plan on owning that same IS or another 3IS in the future? If you are, buying a used exhaust system would be better in the long run.
