'15 IS250 AWD - trunk light in trunk constant on?
Hi all,
The IS250 we have is currently having a funny issue I believe. I was loading some cardboard boxes into the trunk which required me to fold down the rear seats so it would all fit (they were deconstructed). As we were locking up I noticed the trunk light inside still remained on even after locking. I went away and came back a few minutes later and the light inside the trunk was still on. I never shorted out any wires, everything seemed to be okay. I also do not believe the led strip is causing this, but cannot be certain.. I put in a halogen bulb and light still stays on too.
I double checked to make sure the trunk was latched securely, it was - so right now I pulled the plug on the light (led strip) to avoid battery drain.
Is there some sort of switch that I must've bumped or triggered? Nothing appears on the dash. The trunk release button in the cabin works just fine too.
Please help if able. TIA.
