I can't believe my lease is up in October already. I got a three month "waiver" from Lexus, so theoretically, I can start a new lease at anytime (only one month of a pocket). So I can start looking now through the summer or wait until it's closer to fall.
Other cars Im looking at:
Audi S3 (probably too small, only 288 HP unless I get a tune)
A4 +plus tune, might be out of budget
Kia Stinger
infiniti Q50 Sport or Q60 sport (have to be under $500 a month).

Honestly, it's up to you. I just released another IS back in March. Mainly because I went over miles and Lexus wasn't going to charge me if I just leased another. I would of waited if I could. I wanted to see if the 2020 IS or the 2021 model would have any drastic changes. I love my 2019 but I wish they would of changed a lot more features.

Lexus is as tight lipped as Acura when it comes to their new models. I am 95% sure that we'll see a new (FMC) IS in the spring/summer 2020 as a 2021 MY and will be quite modern. I am also pretty sure they'll go the turbo route...I can't see them putting the 3.5L V6 in a 4th Gen IS that would last for another 6-7 years. I could be wrong but that is what I am hanging my hat on.
I am going to lease a new RC350 starting next week to tie me over until the new IS is out and can work out the quirk - I am old fashion and love a naturally aspirated engine and just the conventional 6 speed (for the AWD). I am not a 10 speed kind of guy.
Depending what Lexus does, I may decide to buy my RC outright at the end of the lease....I love the MMC for the 2019 MY
